New Probationary member for NTA
NATO Tiger Meet
59/1 Puma squadron enters its first year as probationary member of the NATO Tiger Association
During today's 'Detachment Commanders' meeting at NTM 2009 the 59/1 Puma squadron was voted 'Probationary Member' of the Association.
This was done after the current and future Commanding Officer of 59/1 Puma squadron briefed all Detco's present about the history and current operational status of the squadron.
The squadron operates the JAS-39 C/D model, of which 14 aircraft are leased from Sweden by the Hungarian Air Force for a 10 year period.
